My Love Hate Relationship with Woody

Woody Allen tears me into two. I just can't seem to stand the man and yet I admire him. He is absolutely brilliant when it comes to his movies. He has created some of my my favorites such as, Scoop, Whats up, Tiger Lily ? and A Midsummer's Sex Comedy. Yet the idea that he married his adopted daughter makes me nauseous.

He has some much going for him, he is funny, has stylish glasses, and adores and films Scarlett Johnasson(one of my all-time favorite actresses). But, naturally in Hollywood anyone who wants to be famous must have some major flaw. For instance, Jolie kissed her brother and Barrymore started doing drugs before she was 10.

I am not saying that these people aren't brilliant. They are very talented in what they do. They just seems ridiculous in some of their actions. Woody Allen will always be my favorite director. Come on' with lines like," If you believe in fairies, clap your hands. Maybe my gun with refill with bullets." are absolutely priceless.

But, maybe one day Hollywood will grow up.
